No, 64-bit Windows requires, 64-bit native device drivers. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

x86 drivers can only be installed on an x86 system. x64 drivers can only be installed on an x64 system.
- general rule of thumb :o)

You need to go to ASUS website and check for any 64-bit native drivers for built in SoundMac audio. If they are not available, Creative does have 64-bit drivers for some of their products. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I found new X-Fi drivers for Windows XP x64 that were posted on 5-30-06 http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp?MainCategory=1&sOSName=Windows+XP+Professional+x64+Edition®ion=1&Product_Name=X-Fi+XtremeMusic&Product_ID=14066&modelnumber=&driverlang=1033&OS=23&drivertype=0&x=30&y=11 the vista drivers are still dated for last November though...
Jeje:
I had thesame problem and the way I got it fixed is that I installed the XP 64 drivers from Creative (no sound came out ) but I knew that something was going right because the speaker icon at the bottom right had some green waves. After that I ran the Vista drivers from creatives site also and voila sound came out. I could not install the applications but at least I have sound. Another glitch is that my7 microphone does not owrk right Hope this works for you BTW my card is the Audigy2 value

hi unfortunatly this doesn't works.
you are right, XP drivers display the green bar when there is some sound, but there is nothing on my speakers. updating to the Vista driver cause the card to not work again.
what are you driver version?
